Warrington Amateur Radio Club (WARC) meets at the Grappenhall Community Centre every Tuesday evening starting at 8pm and Thursday mornings from 9am. The club has members from Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester and welcomes prospective members and visitors from even further afield who hold an Amateur Radio Licence, want to acquire an Amateur Radio Licence or simply wish to learn more about the hobby or radio in general.

If you're in the area, why not join one of the Club nets on 2m FM which start at 10am every morning and Thursday evenings at 8pm? Everyone is welcome to join whether you're a member or not and we usually convene on or around 145.400MHz.

Grappenhall is a small village in Warrington, Cheshire, in the north west of England, 3.8km (2.4mi) south east of Warrington town centre.

If you're travelling from the M6 motorway, leave at junction 20 and follow the A50 road towards Warrington. After approximately 1.5 miles you will pass over a canal bridge and approach a 30mph zone. Bellhouse Lane is on the left as you enter the 30mph zone.

Visitors travelling from Warrington town centre should follow the signs for Knutsford/Macclesfield along the A50. This route passes through one or two of the suburbs of Warrington, namely Latchford and Grappenhall. After you pass over the Manchester Ship Canal bridge, the road will bend gently to the left. Stay on the A50 until you reach the traffic lights (not any pedestrian crossing). After the traffic lights the road bears to the right and Bell House Lane is the next turning on the right.

Whichever route you take, from the A50 end of Bellhouse Lane follow the lane for about 0.2 miles and Grappenhall Community Centre and its car park is on the right. The club room is located towards the rear of the car park.
