Looking into why my phone has been playing up, I find they have changed the DNS setup so re provisioning using the following line puts things to right.
If you have extra lines configured ,copy the config for these as using this script wipes everything !
I know this because of my personal experience !

We have removed the xxx.wizworks.net DNS records from the early days of HH, so we are going to have a bunch of "early day" users whose phones die and they need to re-provision to get their phones active again.

So, if your phone has suddenly stopped working, please re-provision.

Once we turn off the DNS records for wizworks.net if you have not re-provisioned your phone(s) it will stop working until you re-provision it.

We now have an HTTP provisioning method. You can use the below HTTP script in your browser:

http://x.x.x.x/admin/resync?ht.....fg-$MA.cfg

(Where x.x.x.x is the IP address of your phone)

HH has moved info from Facebook to Discord :
It still has info on its WiKi page .

Joining HH Official Discord
HH has an official Discord community. It is easy to join. From any mobile device, scan the QR code below. If you are on a PC, simply click on the QR code to join.

https://discord.gg/YaGsRZWa6C

Pro Tip
When you join, you can set any username you like, but please be sure to set your NICKNAME to the following format: CALLSIGN-Name-HHNumber To set your nickname (to only apply to the HH Discord) just click your name once signed in, and select “Set a Server Nickname” in the above format. If you don't yet have an HH number, you should set your nickname to this format: CALLSIGN-Name

Also, before joining any of the voice rooms, please set a PTT key (we recommend the R-CTRL key) so that VOX does not trample on others in the voice rooms.

Hi,

Had the mad idea of using a combo of a RTL-SDR rx dongle and a HackRF (for tx) with Remote SDR as my rig.

In theory this is possible as they document here https://f1atb.fr/index.php/202.....-sdr-v3-2/ but I think I need a RF amp and (most important) a bandpass filter on the output of the HackRF to properly use it.

Anyone any recommendations for RF amp options (max of 10W for 2m/70cm) for this that would be property compatible with the conditions of a Foundation licence?

I'm leaning towards the conclusion that this is a bad idea, but wanted to see if it had legs.

Got me wondering if some of what they to do to re-orient the antenna they were using could be automated or whether a different antenna design would alleviate the need for it. Deffo one to binge on at the weekend 🙂
