This evening we welcome Joe Chester M1MWD. Joe is known for his popular column in Practical Wireless and has spoken at the RSGB Convention.
He will talk about some of the issues operators with small stations face, including the type of operations, choice of transceiver and antenna., and a bit about propagation. He will hopefully show a demo of an interesting QSO, between Cape Town SA and New York, as an example of what small stations can do. He also bought a new transceiver in Friedrickshafen, so we may get to hear about that, and maybe see it working.
