The CDG2000 Front End Board
This is the first module in the transceiver, and one of the critical ones. It contains the attenuators, switched bandpass filters, H mode mixer, roofing filters and TX/RX switching. It is controlled by means of an I2C interface, details of which are available from Philips semiconductors.

Note that this version of the front end uses a 74AC74 in the mixer to generate the clock.
