Salwek, MoSQJ will present the story of the Konstantynów Radio Transmitting Centre. It was Poland’s long-wave radio broadcasting facility, active between 1974 and 1991. It’s transmitter was the Brown Boveri SL 61 B3. Composed of two parts of 1000kW each, it is considered one of World’s most powerful radio transmitters and it presented the leading technology of LW radio broadcasting in the 2nd half of the 20th century.
