Hi,

Had the mad idea of using a combo of a RTL-SDR rx dongle and a HackRF (for tx) with Remote SDR as my rig.

In theory this is possible as they document here https://f1atb.fr/index.php/202…..-sdr-v3-2/ but I think I need a RF amp and (most important) a bandpass filter on the output of the HackRF to properly use it.

Anyone any recommendations for RF amp options (max of 10W for 2m/70cm) for this that would be property compatible with the conditions of a Foundation licence?

I’m leaning towards the conclusion that this is a bad idea, but wanted to see if it had legs.

Interesting would certainly be an interesting project. Are you looking for an off the shelf amp or a kit/project of sone sort?
